The foundation of SSICsim’s success as an amazing conference for our delegates is built off the dedication, leadership and passion that is demonstrated by our team of talented Committee Directors. As a Director, you have the opportunity to bring worlds to life and to challenge delegates to experiences that they can’t find anywhere else. SSICsim 2019 is looking for imaginative, creative, and driven leaders to become a part of an ambitious year ahead. Whether you are an experienced participant in the Model UN circuit looking to inspire the expert delegates of tomorrow, or a story teller looking to bring your ideas to life – as a SSICsim Committee Director, you will be helping to build a conference that will inspire delegates for years to come.

To apply for a Committee Director position, please submit the following in PDF format:
A resume and cover letter,
A total of TWO abstracts (maximum of 1 double-spaced page per abstract) describing the premise for TWO different crisis committees. Each abstract should include the theme of your crisis/topic, the max and min number of delegates, and some idea of the crisis mechanics that would be involved.
In order for an application to be competitive, one abstract should deal with a topic under Group A, and the other with a topic under Group B.
We also welcome Joint-Crisis and Ad-Hoc Committee proposals!
***Due to the limited number of Committee Director spots available, and to maximize the success of your committee proposal being selected, please ensure that both your Group A and Group B proposals are equally competitive***
