We have reached maximum capacity and will only be accepting registration onto the waitlist. If you wish to be waitlisted, please complete the registration form as usual, and we will inform you if any spots become available for your delegation. Please keep in mind that joining the waitlist is no guarantee of attendance at the conference.

SSICsim organizes its registration process according to two delegation categories: ‘Group Delegations’ and ‘Individuals Delegations’. Please review the descriptions of these two categories noted below and the associated stipulations regarding the registration process. If you are unsure which category your delegation would belong to or have any questions, feel free to contact the Secretariat at registration@ssicsim.ca.

Group Delegations:

Group delegations are any group of two or more delegates who register together. Typically group delegation are high school Model United Nation teams. If you register as a group delegation, at least one teacher adviser or faculty member must attend with your delegation.

Please note that SSICsim does not require a ‘Head Delegate’ for group delegations. The teacher adviser or faculty member in attendance will serve in this role, and will be required to attend the ‘Head Delegate & Faculty Sessions’ hosted by the Secretariat at various points throughout the conference.

The teacher adviser or faculty member responsible for the delegation must complete the registration process on behalf of their delegation. To register your group you must first fill out our Online Registration Form (click here). Please note that the date you submit the Online Registration Form is the date used to calculate your conference fees. After filling out the Online Registration Form, you will be contacted by our Charge D’Affaires who will issue your delegation an invoice for their conference fees, and explain the next steps required to finalize your registration.

Individual Delegations:

SSICsim allows individuals to register without a group or as part of a school. If you register as an individual delegate, your parent/guardian must take full responsibility for your conference registration, conference fees, and attendance. Further, the individuals listed as your primary and secondary parent/guardian contact must be reachable during the conference in the event of a problem or emergency.

Additionally, by attending as an individual delegate you also serve as a ‘Head Delegate’ and are therefore required to attend the ‘Head Delegate & Faculty Sessions’ hosted by the Secretariat at various points throughout the conference.

Registration Fees:

Early Bird Registration: Until September 15th, $70

General Registration: September 16th - October 22nd, $80

Late Registration: October 23rd - November 4th, $95
