What is Midnight Crisis?

Midnight Crisis is a special, independent crisis committee that is held in person after regular committee sessions have ended on the first day, close to midnight — hence the name! The committee is short and fast-paced, held for only one three-hour session and completely independent of the other SSICSIM 2024 committees. Delegates must sign up in advance, but no background knowledge is required and delegates of all experience levels can sign up. Delegates need simply to keep two things in mind in anticipation for Midnight Crisis:

• Come in with an open mind, and

• Be ready for royal chaos

The topic of Midnight Crisis changes every year and tends to be more creative and light-hearted than typical Model UN crisis committees. This year, the committee topic will be revealed to delegates at the beginning of the committee session.

• Time: October 25th, 2024 from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Location: Woodsworth College Residence (321 Bloor Street West)
